VISIONS OF SUSTAINABILITY (2024-2026) was a documentary film series on sustainability themes and a transdisciplinary research project funded by the Sustainability Innovation Campus and hosted by the University of Freiburg and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
This website will provide information about the project beyond until the end of March 2027.
From October 2024 to December 2025, the VdN project screened nine solution-oriented documentaries on the topics of climate, resources, and well-being at the Harmonie Kino Freiburg cinema. Together with the implementation partners and the audience, the team explored what motivates people to engage with such films, what changes in attitude result, and what intentions for action are expressed with regard to the transformation toward greater ecological sustainability.
