As a follow-up event to Nic Balthazar’s film Duty of Care – The Climate Trials, Hannah Münstermann from the Climate Clinic is offering a workshop (in German) at the Volkshochschule Freiburg as part of the Visions of Sustainability project.
The earth is heating up and the law is increasingly becoming a tool in the fight against the climate crisis and for our freedoms and security – now and in the future. What legal developments have we observed in recent years? Which lawsuits were successful and which are pending? And as a non-lawyer, what do I actually have to do with the law? Can I even maybe use it? We will explore these pressing questions together in this workshop with representatives of the Climate Clinic e. V. – the first student legal advice for climate and law
