A city that combines the advantages of rural areas with the advantages of the urban world. In the French documentary La Belle Ville/Green City Life, two young city dwellers travel the world in search of concrete initiatives to bring nature back to the heart of cities.
Between the serenity of Japan’s green skyscrapers, the unusual mushroom production in a dark Paris parking lot, or a crazy Canadian supermarket that grows its produce on the roof, they discover positive and accessible solutions that are already working.
Along the way they meet people with revolutionary ideas. By connecting all of these solutions together, they offer us their vision of what the beautiful city of tomorrow could look like.
